Bank and card transactions waiting for review, with the category HelloLedger suggests.

How transactions get reviewed

HelloLedger categorizes imported bank and card transactions automatically. Anything it can't place stays uncategorized until someone picks a category. Either way, a person reviews each transaction in HelloLedger before it counts as done.

This endpoint lists that queue so your app can show what is waiting, filter it, and see the suggested category. It is read-only; reviewing happens in HelloLedger.

List the queue

Scope: transactions:read. Newest first. Page with limit (up to 200) and offset.

Filters

Parameter	Values
status	needs_review (default, everything not yet reviewed), uncategorized, or pending_approval (categorized, waiting for review).
account_type	credit_card or bank.
account_id	One bank or card account from GET /coa.
from, to	Transaction date range (YYYY-MM-DD).
limit, offset	Paging. limit up to 200.

Fields

Excluded transactions are never listed.

Field	Notes
amount	Negative for money out (charges), positive for money in (refunds, deposits).
suggested_category, suggested_account_id	The account picked so far. Null when uncategorized, and for transfers and splits.
categorized_by	helloledger when HelloLedger picked the category, user when a person did, null when unknown or uncategorized.
is_transfer, is_split	True for a transfer between the company's accounts, or a transaction split across several categories.
