Managing keys
Create, rotate, and revoke developer keys, and see what each key has done.
Where keys live
Company admins manage developer keys at Profile → Developers (also linked from Integrations). AI assistant keys for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Muse are managed separately under AI assistants.
Each company can have up to 10 active keys.
Keys created by a partner app through Connect HelloLedger show as Connected via the app's name. Revoke one to disconnect that app.

Integration name
Set Integration to a short name for the app, such as acme-rent. HelloLedger lowercases it and uses it to match records by external ID.
Keys with the same integration share records, so when a key is replaced, the new key updates the same customers and invoices instead of creating duplicates. Rotating a key keeps its records either way.
Activity
Select Activity on a key to see its most recent requests: what it did, your external ID, the HTTP status and error code, and the request ID. Activity is kept for 90 days. Request bodies are never stored.
Keys unused for 90 days are flagged so you can revoke the ones nobody needs.
Security settings
Select Security on a key to change its expiry or allowed IPs. The secret stays the same, and the owner is emailed about the change.
